Arranging the work for the iM
Your Scion iM needs battery service? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Before the shop sees your iM
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Our part and the shop's part
You approve the shop's quote before any work. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car while yours is in the shop
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
