The 2004 Scion xB: Battery boost
Your 2004 Scion xB needs battery service? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
About your xB
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 1.5L 4-cylinder, paired with a 5-speed manual, drives it.
From request to repair
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Your rental while you wait
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Between shop visits
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Ask us
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
