The Subaru Forester: Battery boost
The Subaru Forester and battery service: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
About your Forester
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your Forester, have it ready for the shop. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How we help
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
What to ask
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Ready when you are
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
