Battery boost for the 2018 Tesla Model S
Your 2018 Tesla Model S needs battery service? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Your Model S and the shop
Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the electric motor. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. An electric car also has a small 12 V battery that can go flat like any other. The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it.
How the request works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Getting a clear quote
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Good habits for your car
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Questions first?
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
