Arranging the work for the FML
Need battery service for the 2002 Volvo FML? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Your FML and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How the request works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Good habits for your car
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Still deciding?
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
