Battery boost: how we help
The 1997 Volvo WHEB and battery service: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Before the shop sees your WHEB
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your WHEB, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the WHEB.
Our part and the shop's part
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
Keep moving meanwhile
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Getting a clear quote
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Small things that help
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Ready to ask?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request battery boost
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
