Specs, explained

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 9.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 29 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $14.73 at our price setting.

Who rents the Tucson

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Space and size

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Getting one from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Request, offer, keys

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Driver requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
