Request, offer, keys

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Before pickup

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
