Black car service: VPG

Renting the VPG

For a car with a driver, the VPG could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The figures, translated

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Can you rent one?

No VPG is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

The booking steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Talk to a person

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
