Black SUV service: the 2021 Audi Q3 Progressiv

For a car with a driver, here is what the 2021 Audi Q3 Progressiv brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them.

Renting for Ruby

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 943 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ruby starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Huron, Arnold and Holcombe.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 9.3 L/100 km works out to about 28 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $14.42 in fuel at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Practical details

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length. For luggage, 481 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting the Q3 from CarmaCars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Driver basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
