Specs, explained

Under the hood: the 1.8L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 23 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.5 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.

Space and size

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the Corolla

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The rules, briefly

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
