Brake repair for the PAS
For brake work on the PAS, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. A pulling car or a vibration when you brake is worth a check.
Details the shop needs
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What to send us
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Stay on the road
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Good habits for your car
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Getting a clear quote
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Ready when you are
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request brake repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
