Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
The 1981 Audi 4000 for buffing
- Body: subcompact cars (EPA size class).
Booking the work for the 4000
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1981 Audi 4000, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your 4000
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a small car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request.
What to send us
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Need a car meanwhile?
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. A rental means the work does not stop your week. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
What to bring
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
When the car is ready
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
How the price is set
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. We price the job before we start, never after.
After the work
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
