Buffing: the 1992 Cadillac DeVille
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1992 Cadillac DeVille, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your DeVille
Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
The request
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. You can add a rental to the same request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental meanwhile
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
When the car is ready
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
What to bring
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Keeping it that way
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
When you know your dates
Ready when you are: send the details of the car.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
