The 1985 Chevrolet Astro Van: Buffing
For paint correction on the 1985 Chevrolet Astro Van, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a price
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental while we work
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What goes into a quote
Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
How long you are without it
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
Before you drop the car off
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
Keeping it that way
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
