The 1982 Chevrolet C5: Buffing
This page covers paint correction for the 1982 Chevrolet C5, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Your C5, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
Getting a quote
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. You can add a rental to the same request. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
When the car is ready
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
A few things first
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
Why prices differ
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
Aftercare
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
