Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the C5
Searching for buffing for the 1991 Chevrolet C5? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your C5, up close
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
What to send us
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. You can add a rental to the same request. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Driving while yours is in
A rental means the work does not stop your week. We collect the rental when your car is ready. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Aftercare
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Timing
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
What to bring
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
How the price is set
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
