Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the C6
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1982 Chevrolet C6, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
From request to appointment
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Keeping it that way
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Why prices differ
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
How long you are without it
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
Getting the car ready
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
