Buffing: the 1985 Chevrolet C7
Searching for buffing for the 1985 Chevrolet C7? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
How to request it
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
A car while yours is in
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
How long it takes
A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
How the price is set
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
Looking after it afterwards
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
