Buffing: the 1981 Chevrolet Impala
This page covers paint correction for the 1981 Chevrolet Impala, and a rental while the car is with us. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Booking the work
You can add a rental to the same request. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
How long it takes
A clear timeline comes with every quote. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
Why prices differ
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. We price the job before we start, never after.
Getting the car ready
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Get an offer
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
