Booking the work for the Malibu
Here is how we handle paint correction for the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
As a mid-size car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.87 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot.
The request
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
How long you are without it
Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
What affects the price
Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
