The 1982 Dodge Aries: Buffing
This page covers paint correction for the 1982 Dodge Aries, and a rental while the car is with us. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a mid-size car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
Booking the work
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Ask anything about the work in the request.
Keep driving meanwhile
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. We collect the rental when your car is ready. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
On the day
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
After the work
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
How long it takes
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
What goes into a quote
Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
When you know your dates
Send photos and a few details, and a person replies with the next step.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
