Your Journey and paint correction
Buffing for your 2021 Dodge Journey? Start with a request; a person replies with a price and a time. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
Booking the work
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Need a car meanwhile?
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Why prices differ
The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Planning around the work
We keep you posted if the timing changes. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
After the work
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
