Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Buffing: your Flex
This page covers paint correction for the 2016 Ford Flex, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What to send us
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected.
A rental meanwhile
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Why prices differ
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
What to bring
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
How long you are without it
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Looking after it afterwards
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
Talk to a person
Tell us about the car and the work, and we take it from there.
