Buffing for the 1987 GMC FE
For the 1987 GMC FE, paint correction starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
About your FE
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What to send us
You can add a rental to the same request. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. A rental means the work does not stop your week. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Getting the car ready
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Pricing, plainly
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.
Planning around the work
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
After the work
Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
Get an offer
When you are ready, a short request books the work.
