Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the WCS
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1988 GMC WCS, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a price
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. You can add a rental to the same request.
Keep your week on track
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
When the car is ready
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
Before you drop the car off
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
What affects the price
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Aftercare
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
Let us know
When you are ready, a short request books the work.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
