The 1988 GMC WHL: Buffing
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1988 GMC WHL, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your WHL
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a quote
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental while we work
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Looking after it afterwards
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
How long it takes
We keep you posted if the timing changes. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
What affects the price
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Your move
Tell us what the car needs and when it is free.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
