Buffing: your Impulse
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1990 Isuzu Impulse, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
What your car means for the work
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What happens after you ask
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Keep driving meanwhile
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Aftercare
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
Why prices differ
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
Planning around the work
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
A few things first
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
Next step
Send a request today for a price and a time.
