Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Buffing: your XJ
Here is how we handle paint correction for the 2017 Jaguar XJ: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your XJ, up close
Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request.
How to request it
You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Driving while yours is in
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Pricing, plainly
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
How long you are without it
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
