The 2018 Lincoln MKT: Buffing
Your 2018 Lincoln MKT and paint correction: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a price
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Stay on the road
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. A rental means the work does not stop your week. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
After the work
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
What goes into a quote
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
Planning around the work
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. We keep you posted if the timing changes.
On the day
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
