Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
The 1989 Mercury Capri for buffing
- Body: subcompact cars (EPA size class).
The work on your Capri
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1989 Mercury Capri, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
What happens after you ask
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Driving while yours is in
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Getting the car ready
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Aftercare
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
What goes into a quote
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
How long you are without it
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
