Booking the work for the Cougar
Your 2000 Mercury Cougar needs paint correction? Send the details, and we reply within one business day. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
How to request it
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Before you drop the car off
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
What affects the price
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
Timing
A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
Looking after it afterwards
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
Send a request
Ready when you are: send the details of the car.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
