The Mercury Monterey for buffing
- Body: minivan - (EPA size class).
The Mercury Monterey: Buffing
For paint correction on the Mercury Monterey, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your Monterey, up close
A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. As a minivan, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a price
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A car while yours is in
Add a rental to the same request as the work. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
After the work
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
A few things first
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Timing
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
Your move
Book the work and a rental in one request.
