Your 1989 Mercury Topaz: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1989 Mercury Topaz, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Size and finish
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a compact car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Booking a time
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Driving while yours is in
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What affects the price
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
Aftercare
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
When the car is ready
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days.
