The Oldsmobile Eighty Eight (88): Buffing
For the Oldsmobile Eighty Eight (88), paint correction starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Size and finish
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
What to send us
You can add a rental to the same request. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Stay on the road
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
How long you are without it
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
Getting the car ready
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
Looking after it afterwards
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Pricing, plainly
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
