Your Lemans and paint correction
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1985 Pontiac Lemans, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a compact car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Your request
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Ask anything about the work in the request.
A rental meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What goes into a quote
We price the job before we start, never after. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
What to bring
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
Planning around the work
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
