Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
The work on your Tempest
Searching for buffing for the 1987 Pontiac Tempest? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
Your request
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. You can add a rental to the same request. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Need a car meanwhile?
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Keeping it that way
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
What affects the price
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
When the car is ready
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
Ready when you are
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
