Your Porsche 924: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the Porsche 924, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Booking a time
Ask anything about the work in the request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Need a car meanwhile?
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Before you drop the car off
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
After the work
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
How the price is set
The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. We price the job before we start, never after.
How long it takes
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
