Buffing: the 2008 Porsche Boxster
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 2008 Porsche Boxster, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your Boxster
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
The request
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
Need a car meanwhile?
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. A rental means the work does not stop your week. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
How long you are without it
We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
Getting the car ready
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Looking after it afterwards
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
Let us know
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
