2022 Rivian R1S: every figure
| MPG city (US) | 73 MPGe |
|---|---|
| MPG highway (US) | 65 MPGe |
| MPG combined (US) | 69 MPGe |
| Charge at 240 V | 13 hours |
| Fuel cost a year (EPA) (EPA: 15,000 miles at its fuel prices) | US$1,100 |
| Fuel cost for 20,000 km (at 15 cents a kWh) | $906 |
Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Your R1S and paint correction
For paint correction on the 2022 Rivian R1S, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
An electric car needs care around its charging port and sensors. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request.
Getting a quote
You can add a rental to the same request. Ask anything about the work in the request. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
A rental while we work
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Before you drop the car off
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
What affects the price
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
Aftercare
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
Timing
We keep you posted if the timing changes. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
