Buffing: your WCA
Here is how we handle paint correction for the 1986 Volvo WCA: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
What happens after you ask
You can add a rental to the same request. Ask anything about the work in the request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A car while yours is in
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
When the car is ready
We keep you posted if the timing changes. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
Aftercare
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
Before you drop the car off
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
What goes into a quote
Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.
Send a request
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.
Request buffing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
