Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.

Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
