Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the WXLM
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1986 Volvo WXLM, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
About your WXLM
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
The request
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Need a car meanwhile?
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Keeping it that way
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
Planning around the work
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Why prices differ
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
A few things first
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
