Car battery replacement: how we help
For battery service on the 2016 Audi A3, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The 1.4L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
How the arrangement works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You approve the shop's quote before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Between shop visits
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Talk to a person
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request car battery replacement
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
