The CODA: Car battery replacement
For battery service on the CODA, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How the arrangement works
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
A car meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Car care, briefly
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
A short checklist
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Your move
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request car battery replacement
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
