The 2023 Ford Edge SEL: Car battery replacement

Need battery service for the 2023 Ford Edge SEL? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

    Your Edge and the shop

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Edge. The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.

Our part and the shop's part

We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

    A short checklist

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

    Small things that help

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

    The Edge and Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 770 km from Java, and does not deliver there.
