The Karma: Car battery replacement
Searching for car battery replacement for the Karma? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What CarmaCars does here
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
A short checklist
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
