Car battery replacement: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for battery service on the 2016 Lexus RC we arrange a trusted shop. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RC. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo. The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic.
What to send us
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A car while yours is in the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Good habits for your car
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
