A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Car battery replacement for the Lucid
Car battery replacement for the Lucid: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Our part and the shop's part
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Before the shop starts
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Car care, briefly
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Make a request
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request car battery replacement
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
