Car battery replacement: how we help
For battery service on your Qvale, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.
Details the shop needs
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How the request works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
When you know your dates
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request car battery replacement
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
